Grayson’s Season Preview Looks Promising

Grayson takes the 69-50 win over Green Forest with a run in the 4th quarter holding GF to 4pts.  Coach Pierce continues to show his ability to manage a loaded squad with 6 players filling the stat sheet and 4 finishing in double digits. 

UGA commit Jacob Wilkins displayed his versatility as a 6’9” SF with 16pts. (50% from behind the arch) 5 rebs, 4 stl. & 1 blk.  Wilkins is an explosive, high energy player that continues to add to his arsenal. 

The 5⭐️ transfer from Alabama, Caleb Holt finished with 15pts. 5rebs, and 5stl.

6’8” PF Jayvon Rampersant finished with 13pts. 7rebs, 3blks. Rampersant adds a lengthy, solid frame to Grayson’s front court. 

Grayson’s Guards Chris McLavish and KJ Garris combined for 17pts.  McLavish had a team high of 5 assists and Garris 7 rebounds.  Cal State Fullerton commit, Garris is another key addition to the Rams squad. He and Caleb Holt are strong, rebounding guards who can take over a game at anytime.

Senior forward Amir Taylor added 5pts, a team high of 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.
