Bucket List Standouts – Rumble in the Peach State
Rumble in the Peach State brought together talent from every level of the grassroots game, ranging from grade school prospects all the way through high school standouts. The event was filled with competitive matchups, high energy performances, and players stepping into bigger roles throughout the weekend. What stood out most was the variety of talent, with young prospects showing advanced feel and older players displaying polish, leadership, and confidence. From start to finish, the event provided a strong look at the next wave of talent across multiple age groups and stages of development.
Standing at 6’3 with the physical makeup of a Division 1 player, Omari Alleyne was extremely versatile. Grabbing boards, defending full court, finding gaps to the rim and a smooth jumper to boot. There was nothing Omari couldn’t handle, Varsity high school ready from day 1, major Georgia prospect.
Josiah Dempsey has a killer jumper, and is the most vocal player I saw this weekend. He is constantly communicating on both sides of the ball and doesn’t shy away from getting downhill to the rim. Great size and length, Dempsey gives elite depth to a stacked Jet squad.
Kyrie Simpson is everything you want in your PG. Touches the paint, dishes out, pocket passer, gets downhill to the cup and can shoot the three ball. Very pesky on defending all 94.
Griffin is the defensive sparkplug for FEA 2030. Consistently contesting shots, and staying disciplined on defense, Georges consistently makes it difficult for opponents to score. His quick reaction, hustle, and ability to guard multiple positions makes Georges a valuable asset to the FEA team.
Cash Lowery might have been the most impressive player I watched at Rumble in the Peach State. Lowery possesses elite basketball iq, playing at an elite pace, running the offense with patience. Leave Lowery open and the three ball will consistently fall. Can find the gaps and score at the rim. Don’t let the size fool you…major young prospect coming up.
Blackwell is a quick, shifty guard that can give you 10 in the paint or outside. Very energetic on both sides of the floor, and makes the extra pass for teammates.
Snow is tough and physical. He has a relentless downhill attack with a layup package. Defends the floor well and looks for teammates.
Good luck trying to slow Randolph down! Great size and has a mature feel for the game. Gets downhill with a quickness, absorbing contact and finishing. 2 way player being aggressive on the defensive end. Bright future ahead.
Davis, a talented guard with scoring ability and a defensive nightmare. I witnessed many shot blocks, puts his length to good use. Grabs rebounds and can score in bursts.
SDA Elite guard is productive and has the goods. Vocal on both sides of the floor, directing teammates. Can score many ways, high motor and defends all 94 feet. Major asset to
this potent SDA offense.
Tate stands at a commanding 6’4. With that size in 6th grade, Tate makes opposing players rethink their choice of sports. The impressive makeup of Tate is footwork and abilities on both sides of the ball. He gets busy in the paint and can hit the open jumper.
Singleton consistently shows why he considered the top player in his class. Hustle, shooting ability, floor vision and ball handling are next level for his age. Keep watching!
Kortlan Chandler | Elite Playmakers | 2030 Chandler has the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. His strength in the paint, aggressive rebounding, and defensive toughness make him a key contributor every time he steps on the court. Kortlan Chandler controls the glass and is a dominant shot blocker. 2030 Elite Playmakers have a dominant and reliable force at the power forward
position.
Cayden Herd | Decatur Blazers | 2035
Herd has basketball IQ at a young age. Cayden possesses excellent ball handling, quick decision-making, and great court vision, this player helps lead the team offense while creating scoring opportunities for teammates. With strong hustle, Cayden gives maximum effort on both offense and defense. Has the ability to stay focused, encourage teammates, and make smart plays.
FIRST GRADE DECATUR BLAZERS
This young Blazer crew has alot of fight! They scraped together a victory being down by margins up to 8 points.
Playing up with second graders, this scrappy team did not back down. They possess good ball movement and grit for this age.
The future for this legendary program is still bright.
