The event featured a strong mix of skill, athleticism, and players eager to make early statements heading into the spring. Guards controlled tempo, wings attacked gaps, and bigs protected the paint as teams battled possession by possession. Every bracket had its share of standout performances and momentum shifting plays. Cadien Hudson Jr | Atlanta Swish | 2029
Hudson Jr picked up right where he left off from his high school season and continued to show why his name belongs in conversations around the top players in Georgia. Hudson Jr is a 6’6” wing with high level athleticism and he continues to improve at a rapid rate. Hudson Jr impacts the game as a strong two way player who competes on both ends of the floor. Defensively Hudson Jr shows the ability to guard multiple positions while offensively he stretches the floor and finishes above the rim. Hudson Jr’s versatility and upside make him one of the most intriguing prospects in the class.
Juelz Butler | Elite Playmakers | 2030
Butler stole the show at the Who Got Next Tip Off and made his presence felt from the start. Butler proved to be a true sniper from deep and never hesitated to let it fly when the moment called for it. In the semifinals Butler caught fire and knocked down 4 straight threes that shifted the entire momentum of the game. Butler’s shot making pushed Elite Playmakers into the finals and ultimately helped them capture the championship. Butler thrives in big moments and embraces the spotlight when the stakes rise.

Myles Curry | Atlanta Celtics Jr 3SSB | 2031
Curry is a shooter with precision and confidence in his release. Curry consistently delivers timely buckets and plays comfortably within the flow of the offense. Curry can create scoring opportunities in a variety of ways and shows strong awareness when attacking the defense. During the 7th Grade Platinum Championship Curry changed the complexity of the game on four straight possessions where he either scored or assisted. Curry’s ability to swing momentum in a short stretch makes him extremely dangerous.
Braxton Tate | AE5 Jr 3SSB | 2032
Tate brings a smooth and polished game that stands out for a player in the 6th grade. Tate possesses one of the softest touches from 15 to 18 feet that you will see from a young forward anywhere in the country. Tate shows the ability to put the ball on the floor and attack defenders with confidence. Tate finishes well through contact and does not shy away from physical play around the rim. In the Platinum Championship Tate took over the game and delivered when his team needed him most.

Remi Akins | Georgia Vipers | 2027
Akins delivered several scoring outbursts that immediately grabbed attention throughout the event. Akins showed consistency across multiple games which speaks to the carryover from his strong high school season. Akins played with confidence and looked comfortable attacking defenses in different ways. His offensive rhythm allowed him to impact games in key moments. Akins is starting the spring and summer off the right way and continues to build momentum.
Terry Coleman | Atlanta Swish | 2029
Coleman continues to prove that winning players impact the game in ways that do not always show up in the box score. Coleman followed up his strong showing at NGS All Star Weekend with another impressive performance at Who Got Next Tip Off. Coleman consistently makes the right pass and keeps teammates involved in the offense. Defensively Coleman communicates well and rotates quickly to shut down opportunities. Coleman’s awareness and unselfish play help elevate the entire team.

Djordje Knezevic | Norcross Heat | 2029
Knezevic averaged over 20 points per game as Norcross Heat finished the event with a strong 4-1 record. Knezevic scored from all three levels and showed confidence attacking defenders off the dribble. He consistently got to the free throw line by applying pressure to the defense. Knezevic also finished plays in transition and looked comfortable in the open floor. Knezevic’s scoring ability made him one of the most productive players in the event.
Ben Elson | TWU Elite | 2028
Elson lived up to the mindset that shooters shoot and he never hesitated to let the ball fly. Elson played a major role in helping TWU Elite capture the Varsity Platinum Championship. Once Elson set his feet and the defense lost track of him the ball consistently found the bottom of the net. Elson moves well without the ball and positions himself for clean looks. His shooting mechanics and confidence make him a constant perimeter threat.

Coach Broadway coaches with passion and it shows in the way his players respond. Broadway never allows his players to get discouraged regardless of the score. His teams compete until the final whistle and buzzer every game. Broadway emphasizes team defense and accountability which translates on the floor. Young Buckets continues to develop players who understand how to play the game the right way.

Coach Poteet leads a well coached and disciplined group. Poteet shows strong knowledge of the game with his offensive sets and situational adjustments. His teams share the basketball and move it with purpose. The offense flows smoothly because players understand their roles. Poteet’s ability to organize and develop players stands out.

Clark stands out immediately because of his size and potential at 6’4” as a 6th grader. Clark keeps his hands high defensively and protects space around the basket.
