Bilal’s Middle School & Grade School Prime Performers: Battle In The Valley

Joshua “Yoda” McGill | T3 Mamba | 2029
Yoda, as many call him is a must see grassroots hooper. He plays with swag, but it’s so under control. He attacks with flash and has a soft touch on his finishes. Yoda’s jumper is pure and he possesses an amazing crossover to set defenders up thinking he’s going to drive, just for him to pull up and knock down mid-range and long-range jumpers.

Jarris Walker | T3 Mamba | 2029
8th Grade Boys MVP
Walker is a pure scoring machine. He’s efficient on all three levels. He’s simply a player who seems born to put the ball in the basket. His offensive game is complete, demonstrating remarkable efficiency whether he’s driving to the rim, pulling up for a mid-range jumper, or launching from beyond the arc. He’s a constant threat, capable of taking over games with his scoring prowess.

Maddox Watkins | Team Threat | 2030
Watkins is a versatile big man capable of contributing in numerous ways. He rebounds well and defends multiple positions. Offensively, he displays a decent shooting touch for his size, along with the ability to put the ball on the floor and make plays for others. Watkins’ well-rounded game makes him a valuable asset.

Jayden Thornton | AOT | 2030
7th Grade Boys MVP
Thornton stands 6’6” in the 7th grade. He possesses a distinct advantage over his peers in middle school with size and motor. His offensive capabilities are diverse, demonstrating a capacity to score both inside the paint and from beyond the arc. Thornton is exceptional on the offensive glass, consistently securing rebounds and creating second-chance opportunities for his team. His stock is soaring!

Johan Smith | AOT | 2030
The southpaw forward is a considerable force on the court. Smith’s assertive style of play and focus on interior maneuvers make him a player who frequently dictates the tempo of the game. To fully appreciate Smith’s contribution, observe his positioning and decisive actions near the basket; doing so will reveal the degree to which he shapes the game’s outcome. Very impactful hooper.

LeShawn Lyle | T3 Mamba | 2031
6th Grade Boys MVP
Lyle is on of the best 6th graders we consistently have on the Next Gen Circuit. He can instantly change the game for his team in a variety of ways. Lyle has amazing court vision and can get passes through tight windows. He’s also a good shot maker that doesn’t force unnecessary shots. Lyle’s a rhythm scorer that can break defenders down one on one and make plays. Love to see his growth as a player.

Deon Thomas | AOT | 2032
5th Grade Boys MVP
Thomas has been a beast! He finishes extremely well through contact. Thomas has expanded his game to being able to operate on the perimeter and make effective plays in the flow of the game. He scores everywhere around the basket and efficiently too.

Sire Whisby | Georgia Thunder Elite | 2033
4th Grade Boys MVP
Whisby is a two sport athlete that is a two-way hooper. He’s very disruptive on the defensive end and assertive on the offensive end. Whisby makes his presence felt whether he has the ball or not. A great trait to have so young.

Randall Smith-Armstrong | Hoop Phi Starz | 2035
3rd Grade Boys MVP
Smith-Armstrong is a scoring machine. He can put the ball in the hoop in the open court or half court. He plays with an edge needed to be great. Looking forward to seeing his potential
