Bruton’s Standout Performers Pt. 2 – Who Got Next Tip-Off (2025)
(Cumming, GA) Dobbs Creek Recreation Center was the place to be this past weekend! Part 2 of 3 articles covering some standout grassroots performers from NGSHoops Who Got Next Tip-Off.

Jody Stallings – Decatur Blazers 2033 – Stallings is a young guard with an advanced feel for the game. Already knows how to use his body and create space for himself. Love that he has an unselfish game, but knows how to be assertive when his team needs it. He can knock down the long range shot and imposes his will around the basket. Will be a very fun player to watch for years to come.

Caleb Davis – Atlanta Celtics Beyond 2031 – Moore shot the lights out over the weekend for his team. Has a beautiful release on his shot and it feels as if he doesn’t miss if he’s shooting the ball in rhythm. Has a solid bag of tricks as a primary creator. Does well creating for himself and is a dangerous cover in transition.

Teran Jennings – LBD Select 2031 – Jennings is a quick guard that creates separation with minimal dribbles. He makes defenders pay for even the slightest of mistakes with his quick decision making. He made shots from multiple spots on the floor and showed the ability to consistently get downhill.

Elis Nabors – AE5 2033 – Nabors has a solid all-around game. He rebounded the ball well and guarded every position at times without issue. Despite his youth, he’s a good athlete & uses his length well on both ends of the floor.

Jonah Foreman – Decatur Blazers 2032 – Foreman is a valuable lead guard that pushes the pace. His speed in the open floor put a ton of pressure on teams to hurry back defensively before he made a play. He’s got good counter moves and sees the floor well, especially in drive & kick situations.

Cash Lowery – Young Buckets 2030 – Lowery is fast with the basketball and decisive as the lead decision maker. He’s an extension of the coach while on the floor and brings out the best of his team. He’s a player that can get into the paint, dish and score. Despite his small frame, he’s been a consistent top performer. One to monitor as his body matures from an athletic standpoint.

Zyon Howard – Team Loaded 2030 – Howard is a pure scoring guard that is always a threat to put up huge point totals. Not many players stay on the attack in the manner that Howard does. He’s got cat-like quickness, has excellent lateral movement and is a high level finisher at each level.

Daemeon Holmes – Atlanta Celtics 2030 – Holmes is an incredibly fast and crafty point guard. He can shift most defenders out of his line of sight. Has an air tight handle on the ball and plays with supreme confidence each time out.

Beau Lichtensteiger – DT Elite 2030 – Beau was a tough cover that made an impact as a scorer, facilitator & as a glue guy. A lot of his impact won’t show on the stat sheet. In addition to his scoring and passing ability, he created tons of opportunities with screening, off ball movement & re-directing. Very savvy young floor general.

Trenton Adams – Atlanta Swish 2029 – Adams is a high level shot maker that will not hesitate to pull-up for a shot. He doesn’t take bad shots either. His mid-range pull-up jumper was dialed in all weekend long and he’s got a quick release. Despite being a good scorer, he’s a solid facilitator and meshed well with his other guards.

Michael Link – Atlanta Celtics 2030 – Link is a versatile wing prospect with good height, athleticism and skill. He stands around 6’3” already but showed flashes of wing skills. He’s not afraid to put it on the floor and attack the basket. Does a good job passing the ball and practicing patience until the ball comes back to him.

Symeon Watson – Atlanta Swish 2029 – Watson is a tantalizing prospect that is growing by leaps and bounds both physically & as a player. He stands around 6’6” as an 8th grader, but has an otherworldly wingspan but still possesses a lethal jump-shot. Showed off the ability to handle the ball as a secondary guard to relieve pressure against press defenses. His development is headed in the right direction. Could envision scholarship programs inquiring over the years if his athleticism kicks in.

Shane Collins – SKG 2029 – Collins is a ready-made wing player that has the game of a seasoned high school prospect. He never seems to be in a rush and always finds a way to produce all across the board. He’s 6’2”, athletic, skilled & has a great feel for the game. Very competitive.

Jaxton Trammel – Young Buckets 2029 – Big, strong inside presence that makes life easy for his teammates. He carves out a lot of space in the paint and eats up the glass. Finishes well over his right shoulder & does well with making opponents uncomfortable when he defends the post.

Issac Wright – SKG 2029 – Wright is a lengthy guard prospect that is wired to score the basketball. He made shots from multiple areas of the court. Is a good option off the catch, can create his own shot with his dribble & is a difficult player to slow down in transition. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him develop into a go to scorer down the road.

Terry Coleman – Atlanta Swish 2029 – Coleman is a pure point guard that dominates games with his poise, quickness & feel for the game. He lives in the painted area & handles pressure with relative ease. If he’s on your team, you’ll have an opportunity to win the game. If you need him to score, he can do that at a high level. If you need him to get everyone involved, he does that at a high level as well. His future is bright as long as he continues developing his all-around game & improving his body over time.

Kymany Bango – Concrete Ballers 2029 – Bango is a tantalizing prospect with excellent size around 6’8” & plays the right way. He didn’t push the issue with trying to create, but was patient within the offense. He made some shots around the rim & notched several hockey assists & showed great form on his mid-range shot. The development of his athleticism & conditioning will determine his long term future. Loads of potential with this kid.

Rylan Maples – Florida Gulf Coast Legends 2029 – Maples is a supreme shot maker that put fear in the eyes of opponents. If he got any space at all to get a shot off, you could basically count it. He moves well without the ball and has good size around 6’2” for an 8th grade combo guard. I suggest that scouts and media pay close attention to Maples. He could develop into an excellent player.

Athens Davenport – Young Buckets 2029 – Davenport is a strong combo guard that has what many would call a “throwback” style of play. He gets downhill & makes defense pay if they don’t crowd him early into his stride. Has a good first step & quick counter moves. Very difficult cover for most guards.

Jamaal Abdullah – Florida Gulf Coast Legends – Abdullah embodies versatility. He is a reliable shot maker & a strong lead guard that can handle the ball. He can run his team offense & is an above average rebounding option for a backcourt player.
