Bruton’s High School Standout Performers – Who Got Next Tip-Off (2025)

(Cumming, GA) Dobbs Creek Recreation Center was the place to be this past weekend! Part 3 of 3 articles covering some standout grassroots performers from NGSHoops Who Got Next Tip-Off.

Zach Graves – Team Takedown 2027 – Graves put on a scoring clinic in his debut with 35 points while still notching 7 assists. He’s a strong bodied lefty that is fast in the open floor and always a threat to pull-up for a deep jumper off the bounce. He embodies what it means to have a great pace with the ball. It’s difficult to contain him when he gets hot from the outside.

Dominion Whitaker – OTF 2027 – Athletic! Whitaker gets great lift on the floor. He’s a player that has to have a player attached to him or he will snag rebounds, push the break and finish. He’s got a good looking mid-range jumper and longer arms than normal for a player around his height. Add in the fact that he was able to consistently produce while playing up. Potential to be a scholarship level recruit sooner than later.

Quadarius Clemons – OTF 2027 – Clemons had one of the most productive high school seasons as a sophomore in the Atlanta area. He showed why this weekend. Clemons possesses next level quickness and shot making ability but he still remains an excellent lead guard that keeps everyone involved. Scholarship programs in the southeast region should start taking a deep look for the future.

Kelvin Johnson – Griffin Elite 2027 – It’s hard to find players with the size (6’6”) and strength as a freshman like Kelvin. He’s a powerful post presence that moves well & makes plays from the mid-post. Johnson is at his best when he’s able to face up and quickly make a move within 5-7 feet of the basket. Rebounds the ball at a high level & competes hard. Two-sport star is only a freshman. Will have a chance to go far in both sports if he continues working.

Ernest Jones – Conyers Kingsmen 2027 – Jones is a competitive inside-outside player that has a good motor. He hails from Rockdale County HS (GA) and stands around 6’6”. Vertically, Jones gets off the floor well and eats up the glass. He isn’t afraid to push the break and make plays happen. Love his ability to relieve pressure for his guards & his unselfishness. Underrated first step & he gets by his initial defender with 1 dribble.

Armani Jones – FEA 2028 – It was easy to enjoy watching Jones create havoc for opposing teams with his athleticism and motor. It felt at times as if he was in every place at once on the court. Offensively, Jones plays primarily on the wing and does well as a face-up scorer that beats his man with 1-2 dribbles. He also creates extra opportunities as an offensive rebounder. Defensively, he was dialed in & forced opponents into rushed decisions. A lot to like about his game.

Emanuel Wilder – Monroe Hurricanes 2028 – Wilder stands around 6’8” and has a strong frame. He ran the floor, protected the rim & made timely passes from the high post. It was impossible to not become enamored with his long term potential as a post presence. His footwork inside is raw, but he has a good feel for the game. If he develops consistently over the next few months & can be more of a scoring threat, it’s possible to envision his name becoming more recognizable in the southeast region.
