Bruton’s Tip-Off Classic Top Performers (2030)

Cumming, GA – As mentioned before, this past weekend, Tip-Off Classic & NGSHoops.com collaborated to host the Tip-Off Classic Jr. I was able to view a few of the programs in the 2030 division, but not all. As for the teams I had a chance to see, check out my thoughts on a few of the standout performers.

Josiah Dempsey (2030) is a lethal lefty that can score the ball in bunches. He had several sequences where he broke a game open with 3pt barrages. In addition to his shooting ability, he can handle the ball & create well against pressure. Young guard with size at an early age.
Kei-Sean Roberts (2030) could be in the discussion as a top PG in Georgia for years to come. He has a tremendous handle on the basketball and commands attention at all times. He almost exclusively plays up 1-2 age groups while remaining dominant. Incredible young player.
Kam Brown (2030) is a smooth lefty that can handle the ball in a secondary role or can play exclusively on the low block. He plays hard, moves without the ball and crashes the glass at every opportunity. A good deal of potential to develop into a versatile wing prospect.
Deshawn Wilmington is a pure scorer. 6th grader (2030) has good size already at 6’0” and is a true guard prospect. Very crafty and shifty with his handle and uses his strength well around the basket. A young gem out of Georgia.
Deuce Grayson is a familiar name with an exciting game. Rising 7th grader (2030) plays up a grade without missing a beat. Has a tremendous ability to create off the dribble and makes defenses pay for even the smallest mistakes. One of the top guards in his class nationally.
Tanner Morgan (2030) is a lethal point guard that can score it at a high level and can run the offense for his team. He always plays up an age group but stands out with the competition with his IQ and feel for the game. He’s a young point guard worth tracking.
