-Jatta for Hillgrove HS is constant talking piece for anyone who is discussing the high level basketball coming out of Powder Springs as of late. An incredibly tough guard that finishes through contact and puts his body on the line for the love of the game. Don’t be surprised to look up and see a 20pt and 3 steal game.
-Roberts does it all and is the mouthpiece to Kipp Atlanta’s fast growing train on the west side of Atlanta. Roberts keeps the energy high and keeps his level of play even higher. He’s a walking double double easily.
-Robinson probably had the most exciting game of the weekend after he dropped 21 vs Hillgrove while dunking on everything that decided to be in the paint. In transition Robinson straight up glided to some of the most elite passes and finishes.
-Fountain was easily one of the top hoopers this past weekend. You can’t help but admire the progress that his game has made as well as the confidence that he has been displaying for Coach White’s Pace Academy Squad. Fountain provided a paint presence, being a more than viable scoring option, and kept Pace’s edge throughout their matchups
Jiminez flew onto the radar this weekend after making plays above the rim as well as from every spot on the floor for Tri-Cities. The word ’tough” comes to mind rather quickly when you see Jimenez constantly be in the mix of his oppositions turnovers.
Tre Keith is Atlanta’s guard plain and simple. His game is to be shown not told. A crafty and rugged hooper who sets the tone of the game. Shooting, tough finishes, leadership, IQ, and a demeanor that carries Tri-Cities through down moments.
Hibbert’s game vs Redan was a ball handlers nighttime dream. 21 points off of straight BAG WORK. This guard is another gem for not only South Paulding but the GA Stunners AAU program
-McAllum is a young talent that has the potential to be a problem in the state of Georgia’s basketball scene. A 6-4 Wing that clearly shows interest in becoming a bigger piece to Redan’s future.
Medhin is already seen as one of the state’s most dangerous bucket getters regardless of class. While being a pure bucket, Medhin’s court vision is something to be aware of. He’s not just able to create buckets for himself but also his teammates.
-Winters has been quickly becoming one of the more interesting prospects in the country let alone as a guard who stands around 6’6. Tough baskets were made with the prettiest of finishes. Winters didn’t hesitate in Osborne’s matchup with Kell HS to go right at the opposing front court nor did he shy away from displaying his long range shooting ability.
2028 Brielen Craft 6-4 Guard – PACE Academy
The talk around Craft is that he has clearly gotten taller and added weight to his already growing frame. At this point he may very well be standing around 6-4 and that is Avery scary thing seeing as how he already is known for his court vision and IQ. He is reminiscent of a big quarterback in the pocket as he is able to push dimes out from anywhere on the floor as well as knock down jumpers in pivotal moments
