Georgia Highschool Hoops Feb. 12-17

2026 F Frank Jackson & G Cesare Harper

Paideia has a nice backcourt and front court prolific duo sophomore duo with CJ Harper and Frank Jackson. Harper game is mature for his classification. He plays with a nice tempo with his decision making and plays well within the offense, including his ability to read defenders and create space to make plays for himself and teammates. He’s highly explosive above the rim posting a few highlight dunks this year and will only get better as he finishes his high school career. Frank Jackson can do it all from the forward position. He’s a great defender and rebounder and has good floor awareness to find space behind the defense for his teammates to find him to score. Jackson can take defenders off the dribble, finish behind the perimeter and play above the rim. We will definitely continue to watch these two as their recruitment increases.

2025 G Aiden Portee & 2026 G Harris Reynolds

St. Pius posted another 20+win season that includes winning yet another region title. The Golden Lions back court of 2025 G Aiden Portee and 2026 G Harris Reynolds played a major part in the teams success this year. Portee and Reynolds are capable of giving instant offense from attacking the rim or from behind the arch. They both shoot well of the dribble and are dangerous in isolation and know when to be aggressive as scorers and when to facilitate in the offense which makes this team click. Against North Atlanta both players finished in double figures and made their impact felt on both ends.

2025 G Miles George

Sprayberry secured a region title this year against #1 seed Pope and Miles George played a big part in that win. George plays a smooth game and is always under control. He can score on all 3 levels and lets the game come to him which separates him from players with similar attributes. He is an efficient scorer and looks to make the right play for his team which makes him easily rotatable between the 1 and 2 and the next level. George finished with 19 points in the win and was big time down the stretch, including a clutch free throws and a big time 3 with less than 2 minutes left in the 4th that ultimately sealed the win on the road. The Yellow Jackets finished 20-8 on the season and look to make a major run in the 6A state bracket as 1 seed.

2025 G Zach Bleshoy

2025 G Zach Bleshoy is a special talent of out Pope HS. The player of the year recipient is relentless on the offensive end as a playmaker in the offense. He has great floor awareness to find space to attack the rim to score or find teammates which wears defenders down as the game progresses. He finishes well in the paint around multiple defenders and is able to read and maneuver through multiple levels of defenders which makes it a hard task to stop him once he’s downhill on the attack. Blechroy is also a threat from behind the arch and can play above the rim. The Pope standout finished with a game high 25 points and is player to continue to watch as his game and recruitment continues to grow.
