Kings of the South: 2030 Class Starting to Take Shape

Cumming, GA – The Class of 2030 is beginning to round into form—and it showed all weekend at Kings of the South. While still early in their development, many of these young prospects are starting to show real separation. Some are already physically advanced and playing with confidence, while others are showing flashes of high IQ, creativity, and skill that project long-term. What stood out in this group wasn’t just raw athleticism, but it was poise, spacing, and the ability to make the right plays at the right time. Read more below.


5’7” PG Juelz Butler – Elite Playmakers
Juelz has a bounce to his game that’s hard to miss. He plays with real confidence and keeps defenders on their heels with his aggressive, attacking style. Whether it’s slashing to the rim or elevating for a midrange pull-up, he’s always looking to score with purpose but still passes it well. He plays with edge and feeds off the energy of the game.

6’0” CG Messiah Lancaster – Jet Academy
Messiah is a polished young scorer with a mature approach to the game. He’s comfortable creating from the perimeter, but what stands out is his footwork in the mid-post—very clean and composed. Handles it well and knows how to keep defenders off balance. His pace is impressive for his age and he never seems rushed. He’s poised in the halfcourt and has a natural feel for scoring. High upside guard who already looks like a future leader.

5’8” PG Antwon Davis – Elite Playmakers
Antwon plays the game the right way. He makes winning plays, knows when to score, when to pass, and always seems to be in the right spot. He doesn’t need to dominate the ball to make an impact. Strong court vision and a great understanding of tempo. He plays with confidence and maturity beyond his years. A glue-guy guard who just knows how to win.

5’7” PG Braylen Williams – WayCross SuperSonics
Braylen is a crafty point guard with a tight handle and a creative flair. He’s fun to watch in the open court, where he uses hesitation and shiftiness to get downhill. Doesn’t shy away from the moment and plays with good energy. Still developing physically, but already has strong instincts. He’s got a spark to his game that keeps defenders guessing. Definitely a name to follow as he matures.

5’7” PG Camrin Gee – Stonecrest Raptors
Camrin plays with a blur-level pace that keeps defenses off balance. He’s aggressive in transition and does a good job finding teammates on the move. A natural tempo setter who thrives with the ball in his hands. His quickness gives him an edge defensively, too. He brings it to every possession and plays with emotion. Fun, fearless point guard with a lot of heart.

5’9” SG EJ Crockett – Game Elite
EJ is a strong-bodied combo guard who plays through contact and attacks the paint. He’s got a nose for the paint and knows how to get buckets, even in traffic. His strength surprises opponents and his confidence stands out. He’s also unafraid to defend bigger guards. Physical, tough, and wired to score.

6’0” CG Brody Smith – Young Buckets
Brody is a lefty combo with a great frame and a calm demeanor. He does most of his damage around the rim but has a solid midrange touch as well. He’s a willing passer who understands angles and timing. Not neccesarrily flashy, but effective. He plays under control and knows how to use his body to shield defenders. Solid all-around player with room to grow.

6’0” CG Tallen Pinson – Game Elite
Tallen is a tough, downhill guard who constantly puts pressure on the defense. He’s hard to keep out of the lane and doesn’t shy away from physicality. His handle is tight and he’s slippery in traffic. What makes him special at times is his motor. He plays really hard and can finish with either hand. Built for competitive environments.

6’1” G Nolan Hanlon – On The Grind
Nolan is a big, smooth guard who sees the floor well. He’s unselfish and always looking to make the right play. Handles the ball with confidence in transition and doesn’t force things. You can tell he thinks the game and has a good grasp of spacing. Intriguing long-term piece in any backcourt.

5’6” PG Daemeon Holmes – Atlanta Celtics
Daemeon is lightning in a bottle. He’s small, but makes up for it with speed, ball control, and vision. He’s the kind of point guard that’s always a step ahead. Reads help early and can find teammates on the fly. He competes hard on defense and doesn’t take plays off. Offensively, he can both dish and score when needed.

6’2” SG Dante Kirksey – Upward Stars
Dante is a long young guard who looks comfortable playing up. He defends multiple positions and has good instincts off the ball. Offensively, he knocks down shots and finishes well in transition. Still growing into his frame, but the tools are all there. What stands out is his composure. Doesn’t play rushed. High-ceiling kid who’s starting to figure it out.

5’7” PG Jax Teal – Game Elite
Jax is a creative point guard who thrives in the open floor. His handle is tight, and he keeps defenders on their heels with change of speed. He plays with joy and confidence, always pushing pace and looking for opportunities to exploit defenses. Doesn’t shy away from contact and can finish creatively around the rim. He’s a true floor general with flair and vision. Definitely one of the more exciting young PGs to watch.

5’6” PG Keisean Roberts – Jet Academy
Keisean is a pure floor general that can play as pass-first, is very unselfish and always looking to set the table. He runs the show with poise and makes smart reads in the half-court. Despite his size, he commands the offense and directs traffic like a seasoned point guard. He’s got excellent timing on passes and a strong feel for spacing. His game garners a ton of attention.

5’10” CG Josiah Dempsey – Jet Academy
Josiah is a confident lefty with one of the purest strokes you’ll see at this stage. Has a quick release, great rotation, and deep range. He doesn’t need much space to get it off and punishes defenses for going under screens. What makes him tough is that he plays within himself but isn’t afraid to take over when the moment calls. Moves well off the ball and understands how to create separation.
