Next Gen Circuit: Grade School Players Of The Year
Presenting the first annual Next Gen Circuit Player Of The Year awards. In NGS, a players Grade School years are the golden years. As they come up through the ranks, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade is where the foundation is laid. Choosing one player in anything will always be tough, but these youthful student-athletes were a slight notch above the competition. This is a prestigious honor and we congratulate the players selected.

Cason Browne | Beyond Basketball
2032 Player Of The Year
Browne is a lead guard that can control a game in a multitude of ways. Whether he needs to facilitate, score or play a valuable complementary role, Browne does what is needed to win. Browne led Beyond Basketball to a ATL Hoopfest championship victory in impressive fashion. Let’s see how Browne defends his crown on the Next Gen Circuit in 2026 as he enters middle school.


Harrison Knotts | MDA
2033 Player Of The Year
Knotts is easily one of the most skilled players in Grade School. There’s no speeding him up and he’s going to get to his spots with limited dribbles. Knotts has a high basketball IQ to be entering 5th grade. He averaged over 20 points per game on the Next Gen Circuit and constantly made defenses adjust their schemes. Knotts handles pressure as well or better than any other 2033.


Randy Jones Jr | ATL Cavs
2034 Player Of The Year
Jones Jr was dominant in 3rd grade all season. Even when he played up he was a Prime Performer and that stood out most. He was a part of 4 championship teams on the Next Gen Circuit this season. All of which he made an impact like no other. Jones Jr is top player in 2034 on a top team in 2034, you’ll be seeing a lot of them over the next decade.
