Davies was easily one of the most electrifying guards at the Elite60 Middle School Showcase. His determination to get to his spots by any means necessary was fun to watch. Davies had a flurry of nifty finishes where he landed on the canvas as he watch the ball go through the net. He’s known for penetrating the defense to get whatever he wants.

Remembered him immediately from last year’s Elite 60 and not just because of his protective head gear, his all-round play was the main memory-spark as he’s a year more mature after tearing things up in 2022 as well, love the use of the extra pass and cool demeanor that set up teammates and had him looking like he had played with them for years, can score it from multiple levels but his defense and lead guard instincts were the strongest fragrant notes.

Played a sound brand of PG that was easily noticeable for both the calm and explosion he had on demand, used speed out in space to blow by folks but also knew when to slow down and dissect as a penetrator and finisher, just did a lot of things well at both ends and is a PG name to know wherever he decides to go to HS.

Xavier is a hard nosed lead guard who has the motor to get things going on both ends of the floor. A high energy guard prospect who finds himself in the right spots on both ends of the floor with his pure activity and competitiveness. Offensively he can score from range, push pace and finish coast to coast drives, or drop a sweet dime to an open/ cutting teammate. On the defensive side of the ball Davies’ has a motor coaches would ooze over, fully energized defender 82-94 feet.  Xavier’s play style is very unselfish, hardworking, and overall he’s a pleasure to watch compete with how hard he plays ever minute.
