Drew Charter Has Two Prospects Who Are Ready to Compete at the Next Level
Drew Charter has prospects in every class. On senior night they defeated North Cobb Christian 85-59. Two seniors stole the show and made me scratch my head as to why they aren’t signed to any colleges as of yet. 6’6” wing, Cedric Taylor (featured above) and 6’1” guard, Israel Meggett can make an immediate impact on a college program come this fall. They are team guys that play both ends of the floor.
Taylor has elite athleticism and plays the game with a sense of urgency. There were moments in the game where Taylor displayed dominance. Whether it was making plays on offensive, cleaning the glass, or getting a stop on defense, Taylor’s overall impact was felt from the opening tip-off. Taylor’s pulled out an impressive double double with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
#4 Israel Meggett was a hand full in the open floor. He attacked the seams in the defense with extreme confidence and skillfulness. Meggett finished with 14 points.
Very intrigued to see what colleges take a chance to upgrade their program with one of these two guys or both.
