Berkmar Has a Dynamic Front Court Duo

Berkmar High School (Lawrenceville, GA)

We’ve had the opportunity to cover Berkmar on multiple occasions this season and what has been consistent is their front court. Berkmar has a dynamic duo featuring senior Tyson Jones and sophomore Mekhi Ragland.

6’8″ forward Tyson Jones has a versatile skill set. Jones is able to play in the post and on the perimeter, offensively and defensively. His ability to defend multiple positions effectively, along with shoot from the outside with his physicality, size and strength can benefit a ton of schools at the next level.

6’10’ center Mekhi Ragland has a lot of upside. The 2025 big man has a very soft touch. Ragland can catch turn and score without lowering the basketball or even placing the ball on the floor. The skillful big has elite footwork that opens up the game for him. Dedicating to strength and conditioning over the next two years can take his game to unseeable level.
