Bilal’s 7th Grade Prime Performers: Showcase of Champions
A unique 7th grade division that has some stars in the making.

Trenton Adams | Atlanta Swish | 2030
Adams continues to play up and continues to standout. He has one of the purest jumpers on the Next Gen Circuit. With the development of his ball handling, Adams is tougher to contain and that opens up the floor for the feisty and fierce bigs on Atlanta Swish’s 2029 squad.

Shannon McIntyre | The Raptors | 2030
McIntyre owned the paint in wins or losses and against whoever throughout the Showcase of Champions. He played through contact and double teams. McIntyre even made the game tying bucket and game winning bucket in the same game. He definitely plays with the mentality to win at all cost.

Jace Johnson | AOT | 2030
Johnson is an aggressive forward that uses his body well. He attacks the basket strong with intentions to score. Johnson is efficient around the rim and crashes the glass hard. On the defensive end he can defend multiple positions.

Elijah Ross | AOT | 2030
The game is starting to slow down for Elijah Ross. The shifty lead guard has top tier court vision, not just for passing, but for creating. Which it’s using the pick and roll to create space for the team or spacing the floor while another teammate operates. Ross can play the game at a high level.

Miles Moten | AOT | 2030
Moten is a player to buy stock on right now. As he enters 8th grade Moten has a good frame and plays exceptionally well on the wings. His jumper is pure and he possesses a quick trigger. Moten displayed an effective one dribble pull up as well. Keep your eyes on him.

Jamauri Griffin-Howard | West GA Select | 2030
Griffin-Howard hit some big shots throughout the Showcase of Champions. None bigger than the game winner against Sewer South on Championship Sunday to help his team advance. Griffin-Howard has a good shooting stroke and a quick trigger.

Cash Lowery | Young Buckets | 2030
Lowery is a smaller guard that understands he needs to be elite to standout and it’s showing. He’s trending that way. Lowery’s play as of late proves he should be in the conversation with the top rising 8th grade guards in Georgia. Lowery led his team to another championship on the Next Gen Circuit. He’s got next, you heard it here first.

Cooper Head | Sewer South | 2030
Head is such a poised and crafty lead guard that can be effective on or off the ball. Three level scorer with a great floater that keeps the defense guessing. Head gets to the basket at will, but now with the more reliable jumper and his ability to make the right reads, he’s able to balance it out. Defenses have to second guess collapsing or helping. Cooper Head is tough cover.
