We have highlighted Kell as a team to watch early in the year and they have yet to disappoint. They have won their region in dominating fashion and started off the state tournament with a 97-68 win over Maynard Jackson. In this matchup, Kell played fast, physical, and shot the ball extremely well connecting on 11 team 3s lead by #3 Jaylen Colon who hit eight by himself finishing with 28 points, 4 assist and 8 steals. Guard #12 CJ Brown also had a very good game attacking the basket and displaying blistering speed to get down hill and finish at the rim. Brown finished with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assist. #14 Cannon Richards made a huge impact with his motor and physicality on both sides of the ball with an efficient 14 points, 7 rebounds, and an impressive 7 blocks.
