Lakeside Gets The First Win In The “Hard In The Paint” Tournament

EVENT: HARD IN THE PAINT hosted by The Sports for Champions. 

AJ Wheeler scored 14 points and assisted on a multitude of baskets. Wheeler set the tone by pushing the pace and setting up his teammates. Even though Lakeside (GA) was in full control, Wheeler didn’t allow the team to waiver from operating out of their sets and playing sound defense. Those are habits that will translate to good team camaraderie throughout the season. 

Keonte Gibbs was the energy bunny for Lakeside. In the second half he gave Lakeside a scoring spark that allowed them to pull away from Carver (GA) even more. Gibbs’ quickness and speed was just too much. 

I’m very interested to see how Lakeside capitalizes off of this dominating victory.
