Lambert Get’s the One Point Win Over Milton led by Senior Star Niko Wilson

Lambert High School (Suwanee, GA)
Typically a player is having an unbelievable night when a team elects to face guard that player. Lambert’s senior guard Niko Wilson was a force to be reckoned with all night in Lambert’s matchup against Milton. This game had a playoff atmosphere at Milton, which only made Wilson step up his play. He literally put the team on his back throughout the game making big play after big play. The amount of paint touches Wilson got was impressive. His ability to get into the seams of the defense is what led to Lambert pulling out the win. With about 8 seconds left Wilson received the ball on the wing and trending to go downhill, which made the defense key in on him and he was able to kick the ball out to teammate Cam Bland for the game winning three to go up by 1 and ultimately win the game. Bland is a fellow Sophomore guard that has upside to him as well. This game had Wilson’s imprint all over it. Big time players show up in big time games.  Wilson finished with 28 points and 4 assist.
