Midtown Boys Are Rolling and Finding Ways to Win
Midtown boys continue to build momentum and are clearly hitting their stride, winning 3 of their last 4 games and closing this one out in dramatic fashion against South Paulding. The game came down to the final moments and it was senior Lawrence Barreau who delivered the game winner, a perfect example of why he is such a valuable plug and play wing for this group. Barreau finished with 15 points and made winning plays all night.

Senior guard Darrion Hadley was once again in full control, leading all scorers with 30 points in another high level performance. He dictated the pace, scored from all three levels, and carried the offense when the game tightened up. Hadley continues to show he is a player who can step in and contribute immediately at the next level. Any college program that lands him is getting a guard who understands how to impact winning.
Julian Horton added 10 points and 8 assists, doing an excellent job keeping the team organized and making sure everyone stayed involved. His ability to manage the game and deliver timely passes allowed Midtown to stay composed in key stretches.
South Paulding battled throughout and was led by its senior backcourt of Tanner Pitts and Trey Allen. Pitts finished with 17 points while Allen added 14 points, and the duo consistently put pressure on the defense with their ability to slash and make plays off the live dribble. They complement each other well and set the tone for South Paulding. Sitting at 10-3 on the season, this group will bounce back after a tough loss.
