Jonesboro’s Back Court is ELITE!

2024 G Montez Redding has already made a name for himself for the Cardinals but his game has definitely took a step in the right direction as he finishes out his senior year Redding is at shooting guard this year but definitely has point guard play making ability. Behind the perimeter Redding can catch fire and is a great shooter spot up or off the dribble. He’s crafty and shifty with the ball in hands and when he’s down hill or on the break, his athleticism is at full display finishing around defenders or playing above the rim. Defensively his on ball defense makes it challenge for opposing ball handlers and will definitely been an asset for a program next year.

Emerging Sophomore
2026 G Cortez Redding is budding prospect out of Jonesboro high school. The sophomore standout has great feel for the game and runs the PG position well with the ball in his hands. Cortez plays well within the offense but knows to when to be aggressive as a scoring threat and is hard to stop once he’s downhill. He rarely takes ill advised shot attempts and is not shy in big moments. He led the Cardinals to a tough win on the road against Woodward that came down to the last possession and finished with 22 points in the win. His game will only mature and improve as he progresses through his junior and senior year.
