North Cobb Christian Opens Season With Purpose and Balance

North Cobb Christian School entered this season with one mission in mind after last year’s championship loss. This group of juniors has grown together, taken their lumps, and returned with a clear goal to finish what they started. Their opening night win over Furtah Prep showed a team that is playing with purpose, sharing the ball, and leaning on a trio that has the talent and experience to make another deep run at the state title.

Lead guard Grant Robich was locked in from the start and set the tone with 26 points. His leadership and ability to control the game were on full display as he directed traffic, made winning plays, and knocked down shots with confidence. Robich’s decision making and poise will be essential for North Cobb Christian as the season unfolds.

In the paint, Xavier Butler delivered 14 points and showcased a more complete interior presence. He finished at the rim, controlled space inside, and gave the team the physicality they needed on both ends. Isaiah Chandler, the versatile combo guard, added 13 points and once again proved he can thrive in any role. Whether creating for himself, facilitating for others, or defending multiple positions, Chandler’s impact was felt all game.

North Cobb Christian looks prepared, focused, and hungry. With this trio leading the charge and the team fully bought in, they will be right back in the state title conversation this season.
