Zaire Colbert Is Just Getting Started

Zaire Colbert, the standout freshman guard at The Rock School in Florida, is putting together an impressive high school campaign and makes it clear that his trajectory is still pointing straight up.

When the lights were brightest during the Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament, Colbert delivered. In two tournament games, he averaged 22.5 points per game, scoring 22 points in the opening round and 23 points in the semifinal. Although his team fell in the semifinals, his ability to produce in pressure moments stood out and reinforced his reputation as a go to guard.

Now the focus shifts to AAU season, and the next chapter is a big one. Colbert has committed to Jet Academy on the EYBL circuit, giving him the opportunity to compete on the highest stage for the next three years, spanning his freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons. That kind of early exposure is huge and puts him in position to continue building his name nationally.

Zaire Colbert has shown he can dominate his class at every level so far. From eighth grade to high school and now into EYBL play, the expectation is simple. Pick up right where he left off and keep proving he belongs among the elite. The AAU circuit is next, and all signs point to Colbert being ready for the moment.
