Dandy Dozen Standout Jeremiah Davis is the Real Deal
Jeremiah “DJ” Davis out of Oxford HS, showed why is considered a top prospect in his state of Mississippi. The 6’2 combo guard has one of the more complete skillsets we’ve seen this year in high school competition. Davis is extremely skilled off the dribble. He’s capable of pulling off a string of dribble moves to create space which you don’t see too much on this level. Davis has the innate ability to read defenders and makes his next move based off what the defense gives or reacts. He’s a high threat from behind the arch which includes hesitation moves and step back dribbles which creates space for him to score. Davis is just as dangerous inside the perimeter and uses the midrange to keep defenders off kilt. The Dandy Dozen standout is equally dangerous attacking the rim with explosive nature and is crafty finisher with both hands. We will definitely continue to watch Jeremiah as the season progresses.
