Rumble in the PeachState 2023 Standouts by Robert Drew

Anthony Isaac – 6’7 2023 SF – Thomas Jefferson – New Jersey Elite
Anthony Isaac put on the best offensive performance I covered at the Rumble in the Peach State.  He has all of the tools you’d look for in a swiss army type wing player.  Isaac can create offense off the dribble at will, utilizing a left handed downhill attack that is nearly unmatched by defenses.  A true hidden gem within the 2023 class still unsigned.

Nile King – 6’5 2024 SF – Union Grove – Ga Jayhawks AAU
Nile is a versatile playmaking forward with strong intangibles. He possesses some nifty footwork and handles the ball well in the open floor. King was most effective creating his own offense off the dribble and on the offensive glass fighting for second and third possessions.  An athletically gifted wing prospect to track in 2024.

6’5 PF Elijah Tillman – Bay Creek 2028 – Gwinnett Express
Elijah is an athletic force on the interior.  Whether gathering countless offensive rebounds for put-backs or creating his own offense off of coast to coast drives, Tillman always finds himself around the rim for baskets.

Mason Lewis – 6’4 2024 PG – Woodland – AE5
Mason is a strong, physical lead guard that is always in attack mode and has a knack for finishing through contact.  Lewis has a strong frame and a fluid handle allowing him to reach some spots on the floor that other guards just can’t get to within the lane.  He uses his physicality and decisiveness to carve out enough of a driving lane to create scoring opportunities for himself.  A tough shot creator and maker. A tough shot creator and maker.

Alex Young – 6’3 2025 SG – Brookwood – Norcross Heat
Alex Young was one of the better shooters I covered at the Rumble in the Peach State.  His motor runs high as he runs the floor really hunting his shot opportunities in catch and shoot situations.  Alex is poised as a ball handler and competes on the defensive end with energy.  His ability to space the floor consistently accompanied by an occasional drive and finish make up the offensive attack for the sophomore marksman.

Mica Merriman – 6’2 2025 PG – Gadsen (AL) – AE5
Mica is a poised playmaker who is a true threat from distance.  He’s a savvy guard that uses a textbook handle to get to his spots.  A steady decision maker in the open floor who made some really good reads on the offensive end.

Kamari Brown – 6’2 2026 SG – Grayson HS – Promise Elite AAU
Kamari Brown can really fill it up from all three levels of the floor. Attacking off the bounce with either hand, posting up smaller guards, and creating shots for himself off the bounce were all on display at a high level. Tons of confidence in his game, and he translates defense to offense well as a primary defender. Intrigued with the freshman’s development at Grayson HS.

Nasir Anderson – 6′ 2027 PG – Savannah Country Day – J Smoove Celtics AAU
Nasir (featured photo) is a dynamic playmaker and an elite level finisher. His court vision creates so many great opportunities for his teammates and himself.  Off the bounce and in transition he does a good job at seeking out driving lanes and finishing through contact all while setting his bigs up with quick post feeds.  Each time I’ve seen Anderson compete his skillset expands and he is efficient while doing so.  With 4 more years of grade school ball combined with the supporting cast behind the Celtics program, Anderson has the potential to develop into a high major prospect within Georgia’s 2027 class.

5’5 PG Braylon Williams – Buford 2028 – Duke
Braylon Williams is a high IQ point guard prospect. Elite pace, playmaking, & scoring ability were all on display for Braylon, making him a big time backcourt threat.  One of the best pure point guards in the Class of 2028.
