North Gwinnett Has Talent

North Gwinnett Middle School put on a show against Twin Rivers Middle School. They were led by their inside, outside threat of lead guard, Jordan Lynch and forward, Colten Coblentz.
Jordan Lynch is a player who looks to dedicate pace with his playmaking and unselfish play. Lynch made some of the best passes an 8th grader could make. He’s point A to point B with the basketball, along with being a threat beyond the arc. Lynch creates plays before they even happen with his eyes and knowing where teammates will be. He’s an exciting player to watch.
Coblentz was a true force. He controlled the offensive glass, played the passes lanes and finished at the basket at an extremely high clip. Coblentz picks up on things quickly in game and applies them as the game unfolds. That is a great trait to have if you plan to go far with the game of basketball.

As for Twin Rivers Middle School, they’re led by Dylan Tolson, a lanky wing who gives 100% effort every time he’s on the floor. Tolson led a nice comeback, scoring 22 points in the process. Although the comeback came up short, it is definitely a step in the right direction for Twin Rivers. Tolson’s game has been trending upward since the spring. More and more eyes will be on him as long as he keeps this up.
